Any collection will include

When should I book my newborn session?
It is best to book ahead of time, even while you are still pregnant. I offer a limited number of newborn sessions each month so we can provide our clients undivided attention. We can schedule an approximate date, aiming for the first two weeks of baby's life, and then confirm the day once the baby is born.
Baby's do arrive when they are ready, and it's not always on the planned due date, so don't worry! If we have an opening on the calendar, I'll do my best to work with you and your baby! It is highly recommended to book ahead of time to ensure availability and secure your spot.
Even though we recommend photographing a baby during first two weeks for his/her life, we will gladly capture portraits of older newborns.

Where will my newborn session take place?
Most sessions are done at our studio in Huntingdon Valley, PA.
You could request a session at the comfort of your own home. Please contact the studio for more details.
At the studio, we have a lot of backdrops, and a wide variety of props to use, whereas at home sessions are considered "lifestyle", with minimal props, and a lot more candid moments. Both options appeal to clients, it all depends on what you prefer!
For at home sessions we bring only small props, plush tiny animals, wraps, and outfits. No backdrops or large props. I utilize your home as a perfect backdrop for the session - many photos take place in the nursery or master bedroom. Where possible I would use available window light for more natural approach.
At the studio, we use props, backgrounds and studio flash with a large softbox. We have a controlled temperature and most times an assistant will be present to help out with certain poses.
